Acharya Tapas Mallik was born at Kuntighat in Hooghly, West Bengal. From his early childhood, he developed a deep inclination towards spirituality and devotional life. Later, he became associated with ISKCON and dedicated himself to spiritual practice and service.
Alongside his spiritual journey, he developed a profound love for the violin. Under the guidance of his revered Guru, he received training in violin and, through years of sincere practice and dedication, became a distinguished violinist.
He later made Mayapur his permanent residence, while maintaining his connection with Kuntighat, where he still has a residence.
